Angela Schneider
Immediate Past President
”It is my honor to be able to work with so many amazing women and men that continue to share their generosity and love of the Christ Child, as we challenge poverty, one child at a time."
After retiring from the Human Resources field, Angela and her husband, Karl relocated from the Chicago area to Tucson, where she took a position as the Executive Director of the Reach out Women’s Center. This is where she became familiar with the Christ Child Society’s signature Layette Program and joined the Tucson Chapter. Angela served as a chapter member for eight years, serving as the chapter’s Vice President as well as, the President for three years. She is also the recipient of the chapter’s honored “Red Wagon Award” for service.
Angela joined the National Christ Child Society Board in 2018 as a Director At Large, serving as chair of the Membership and Expansion committee. Angela worked with Loretta Haugh and together developed the Chapter Liaison Program, to develop relationships between NCCS Board and the Chapters. This program is very successful and a good tool, for the National Board.
Angela brought an energetic and determined leadership style as we emerged from the pandemic, continued to support our chapters, and revitalized our community-based activities. She served as the National Christ Child Board President from 2022-2024.
Angela is grateful to have had this opportunity to serve the 44 Chapters and all the chapter members. She will be serving as Past President and head up the Nominating and By Law Committees. Angela is very active in the Tucson Diocese working with the Walking With Moms Program, uniting Christ Child as a resource for that program.
Angela is married for 55 years to her husband Karl, and they have three amazing married children, and are blessed with four beautiful grandchildren.
