Who We Are

National Christ Child Society is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping children and families in need across the United States. The organization’s mission is rooted in the belief that every child deserves a fair start in life, regardless of their circumstances.

National Christ Child Society supports its chapters by offering a framework for service, literacy, and opportunities for volunteer engagement.

Chapters are empowered to tailor their efforts to meet the unique needs of their local communities, while benefiting from the national organization's guidance, advocacy, and collective strength. Each chapter provides essential services, such as layettes, clothing, educational resources, and emergency support, to children and families experiencing poverty or hardship.

Our Leadership

The National Christ Child Society is led and operated by a small staff and

12-member volunteer Board of Directors from across the country.

Each member of the National Board is a current member of a local Christ Child chapter,

and our Executive Director is a member of the Washington, D.C. chapter.

The staff works closely with our Board from a compact office in metropolitan Washington, D.C.

With a dedicated office staff and passionate volunteer board members,

we strive to make a meaningful impact in our communities through our chapters.

Our goal is to partner with our chapters to provide support, help grow their impact,

raise awareness of our mission, and expand to new areas.

Together, we are making a difference, one child at a time.
Our Core Values
  • Serving the needs of children with others creates life-long friendships.

  • Engaging community partners to “find a need and fill it.”

  • Respecting every child seeing the Christ Child in each one.

  • Empowering children with skills that promote self esteem and resilience.

  • Loving service changes everyone in positive ways. "Nothing is ever too much to do for a child."

“Love in the heart of a child for Christ…was the inspiration which gave birth to the Christ Child Society.”
