Winning Strategies to Increase Your Funding

Presentation Description

During this presentation, attendees will learn basic concepts and winning strategies for increasing funding for their own Christ Child Society chapters. Topics will include ways to approach fundraising, finding funders, preparation and writing a compelling proposal. A panel of CCS Chapter representative will share success stories. Tips and tricks will be shared throughout. 

 

Biography

Anne Kissack is a Christ Child Society Milwaukee member and feels honored to contribute her talents toward the Christ Child Society Mission. She is a wife and mother of four. She has a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from Purdue University and a Master of Public Health from the University of Iowa. She began her career in research development as a Fellow at the University of Iowa Health Care’s Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities. She has authored cookbooks for individuals with learning disabilities who live independently. For nearly 25 years she has provided grant proposal development across diverse disciplines at the Medical College of Wisconsin, Aurora Health Care Research Institute, and presently University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She has served as a proposal reviewer for foundations and the U.S. National Institutes of Health, Center for Disease Control and Prevention, Center for Medicaid and Medicare Services. Above all, she trusts in the Lord to guide her to use her talents to spread his love to the world.
