Steve leads finance, accounting, IT, business operations, people, and customer teams—all with a focus on delivering the best possible giving experience for nonprofits. Since joining in 2020, Bloomerang has completed three acquisitions, grown its employee base 5x, and grown revenue 9x. Before Bloomerang, Steve held finance leadership roles at Flywheel (leading its sale to WP Engine), WP Engine, Cybereason, North Bridge Growth Equity, and Jefferies.
Steve is from Kansas City, Missouri and attended Catholic school his entire life. He attended Rockhurst High School and Boston College where he received degrees in Finance & Accounting. He met his wife, Preston, while living in New York City and they have been married for 13 years. If he had told her they would eventually live in Omaha, Nebraska he isn’t sure she would have said yes to that first date... Steve & Preston have four kids – Stephen III (10), Elsie (10), Emmett (6), and Hank (3). In addition to his work at Bloomerang, he is involved personally with multiple nonprofits, including Christ Child Society of Omaha, St. Patrick's Catholic Church & School, and The Stephen Center.
