Girls are known to have higher school absentee rates because they don't have access to tampons or sanitary pads. In the picture on the right, you see how our Baltimore chapter is providing help. The kits are easy to assemble and they go a long way in helping students avoid that feeling of shame and embarrassment.

The Phoenix chapter has created the kits on the right to address period poverty. Hygiene products, along with dental items and cleaning supplies can't be purchased with food stamps. Your donations will help us do more.

Toledo will give 1,800 hygiene bags this fall along with a coat, handmade hat, gloves and a book. The most expensive item in the bag? The bars of soap. Toledo partners with more than 30 agencies on this project.
